Zone 0 fire risk assessment

Robert walks your property the way a fire crew would and gives you a clear plan for Zone 0, plus Zones 1 and 2 where they apply. The assessment is free.

Best for: Homeowners who got a notice from their insurer or fire department, or who just want to know where they stand.

What's included

Clearing and debris removal

We remove anything near your home that can catch an ember, and keep healthy plants where it's safe to do so.

  • Firewood and stored materials moved out of Zone 0
  • Debris cleared from under decks

Haul-away

Everything we clear leaves on our truck. No piles left behind for you to deal with.

Roof and gutter clearing

Embers collect where leaves and needles do. We clear the spots on your roof where fires often start.

  • Leaves and needles cleared from gutters
  • Debris removed from roof valleys and around skylights
  • Buildup cleared around chimneys and vents

Tree trimming near the house

Arborist-guided pruning that keeps branches off your roof and away from your walls, without harming the tree.

Best for: Homes with mature trees you want to keep healthy and safe.

  • Limbs over or touching the roof removed
  • Dead and dying branches removed
  • Clearance from walls, chimneys, and eaves
  • Pruning that follows ISA best practices

Zone 1 and Zone 2 clearing

Beyond the first five feet, we thin and clear vegetation out to 30 and 100 feet so a fire slows down before it reaches your home.

  • Low branches removed to break up ladder fuels
  • Brush reduced on slopes and hillsides

Robert is a former Fire Marshal and a licensed real estate broker. He helps buyers, sellers, and agents get properties ready for defensible space inspections and disclosures during a sale.
