Zone 0 Fire Safety helps homeowners reduce wildfire risk and meet Zone 0 and defensible space standards. Please understand the following:

• We help you meet Zone 0 and defensible space standards, but we do not certify compliance. Whether a property meets legal requirements is determined by your local fire authority or inspector.
• Wildfire behavior is unpredictable. No service can guarantee that a home will not be damaged or destroyed by fire.
• We do not guarantee any outcome with your insurance company, inspection, or real estate transaction.
• Information on the Site, including our Zone 0 guide, blog posts, and the Zone 0 self-check, is general information, not legal, insurance, or real estate advice. Zone 0 regulations are still changing, and information may become outdated.

3. Assessments, estimates, and work

• Free assessments and estimates are offered without obligation. Estimates are based on conditions observed at the time and may change if conditions differ or the scope of work changes.
• All work is governed by a separate written estimate or agreement between you and us, which controls if it conflicts with these Terms.
• By scheduling a visit or approving work, you confirm that you own the property or are authorized to approve work there, and that you will obtain any required HOA or landlord approvals.
• Nothing on the Site is a binding offer to perform services.

4. Information and photos you submit

When you submit information or photos through the Site, you confirm that the information is accurate and that you have the right to submit the photos. You allow us to use them to respond to your request and prepare an estimate. We will not publish photos of your property in a way that identifies you or your address without your permission.

5. SMS / text messaging program

Zone 0 Fire Safety offers text messaging to customers and prospective customers who opt in on our website or by other means.

• Non-marketing messages: if you opt in, you may receive texts about your assessment request, appointment scheduling and reminders, estimates, and project updates.
• Marketing messages: if you separately opt in, you may receive occasional promotional messages, such as seasonal fire safety reminders and service offers.

• Message and data rates may apply.
• To opt out, reply STOP to any message. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed.
